PURCHASES & REPAIRS
- If ITZONE discover, during the course of their review or repair works, other faults or issues, we shall advise the customer as soon as we are able to. If these are new or additional faults after the signing of the Agreement Repairs Form, they will be charged separately. ITZONE shall advise before commencing any additional work. The customer shall be responsible for the backup of ANY and ALL personal data relating to any equipment supplied for upgrade, repair or service. ITZONE are not liable for any data loss whatsoever. ITZONE shall only handle data if explicitly instructed by the customer in writing to assist in the backup or recovery of any data.
- Software Use: ITZONE DO NOT and WILL NOT offer any warranties for ANY of their software installation including but not limited to all the software listed in the report.
- Software installations as part of equipment (PC or Laptop) sold to the customer or as part of repairs are checked by ITZONE before handover and, if requested, demonstrated to the customer. Once the customer have had their equipment handed over by ITZONE and have left the premises, the software (Windows, Office etc.) and its use is ENTIRELY the CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY. Any new software faults after collection will be treated and charged separately if we choose to do the work. We reserve the right to refuse to do so.
- Microsoft do not offer end user warranties for their own windows operating systems. ITZONE will ONLY warranty and cover parts and repairs that have been agreed to in advance & writing with the customer.
- Any new parts fitted by ITZONE are warrantied 12 months from the date of purchase and refurbished used parts or systems (PC Desktop or Laptop, Monitor, Keyboard) 1-3 months where indicated to the customer at time of purchase. If nothing is indicated then there are NO warranties and the equipment is sold as seen.
- Refurb systems (used) sold to the customer may have minor scratches, dents and or aesthetic defects. These will not affect or detract from the system performance of the system sold. The customer should check and satisfy themselves before electing to purchase a used item or system.
- The user is entirely responsible for their use of software and any user-created errors or problems post collection of their machine. ITZONE shall NOT be responsible to rectify such faults.
- ITZONE shall NOT take responsibility for ANY unrelated or NEW faults on the same laptop or PC desktop AFTER user collection. They will be treated and charged separately if the faults can be diagnosed successfully.
- All user-created errors to software or hardware and evidence to this effect i.e. deleted files, damage to components, knocks drops, liquid spills etc. are the sole responsibility of the customer. ITZONE shall not be liable for these whatsoever.
- ITZONE reserves the right to charge a fee to investigate and repair at their discretion or to refuse future/new work on the same PC or laptop and will not be required to provide a reason for doing so.
- WARRANTIES do not cover damage, falls, liquids, tampering or other inappropriate use of hardware by the end user or customer. Evidence of this will void any warranty or agreements instantly. Any fault that occurs outside misuse such a RAM, Hard-drive, Screen, Keyboard failure within the warranty period offered, shall be rectified repaired or resolved appropriately. If these are not possible, a refund or like for like specification replacement will be considered and agreed with the customer. You must retain your invoice receipt as proof of purchase and warranty offered.
- We do not take responsibility for the compatibility of customer peripherals with their elected purchase, such a printers scanners or other, it is the customers responsibility to ensure check this prior to their purchase. Please not we do not offer or provide part exchange policy or service upon any purchases you make.
RETURNS
- Under the consumer rights guidelines, as an used item seller we are not obliged to detail any returns policy, but out of good will we offer the following. Items purchased from ITZONE that are designated used, will only be considered for return and or refund if returned in the exact condition state as originally sold, and ITZONE are notified of such intention within 30 days of the purchase date. Any return will be evaluated to check that it meets the above criteria, if the criteria is not met, no return or refund will be accepted. Returns and refunds will NOT accepted after 30 days, unless a warranty period has been offered and the conditions for this are met as detailed within the warranties section.
- All customer interaction with ITZONE is recorded on our 24 hour AUDIO & VIDEO CCTV for security purposes. ITZONE reserve the right to revise their terms & conditions at any time without notice. Any disputes, challenges or contentions shall automatically be referred for legal settlement under UK law. Our Solicitors are Carlton’s of Birmingham, Telephone: 0800 996 1745.
- By purchasing any item or service from ITZONE, the customer has fully understood and accepted these terms and conditions, which are binding in relation to any works or services the customer has asked ITZONE to provide them.
